Removing the bed

The first step to disassembling the truck was to remove the bed. The wood was rotten and the bolts were corroded so they required cutting.

I had been wanting to build a 63-66 Chevy truck for a few years. It was on my "bucket list" of cars. I searched for one on and off over a few years and I looked at several. I finally located a good candidate not too far away so I rented a trailer and brought it home in August 2016.
